Some Lubbock Streets Closed for Maintenance

Some Lubbock drivers might have to find an alternate route to work Monday.

Beginning Monday morning 15th street between Avenue S and T will be closed to through traffic.

Work crews will be constructing a replacement water line on 15th street.

Drivers are asked to be cautious while driving in the construction area. Also the department asks drivers to not park in the street so residential traffic can continue to adjacent properties.

Construction is expected to last through November 23rd.
