Silver Alert Cancelled, Missing Senior Found

Update: The Silver Alert issued for a missing Lubbock Senior has been cancelled. James Eldon White has been found alive in Abilene.

Lubbock authorities have issued a Silver Alert as they continue the search for a missing senior citizen.

Police are looking for 77-year-old James Eldon White. White's family says he goes by the name "Eldon." Eldon has been missing since Noon Monday and may be in a red 2000 Ford F-150. It has Texas plates 7JX-G98.

Eldon's daughter Beth Bramlet says her dad has health trouble and that he's without his medication.

"He left with nothing and he is on a high blood pressure medicine and a dementia medication," Beth said.

"My father and mother went to Quanah to take care of some business and at that time he seemed to get confused. He seemed to have a mini stroke," said Beth.

Beth says that Eldon then became even more confused. After decades of going to Quanah, Eldon had no memory of their land, became upset and left in their red Ford truck after not having driven for more than a month.

Beth has this message for her dad, "Dad if you're out there, find someone and they'll help you get home. And we miss you. Jill and Jake miss you. Please try and find somebody to help you get home."

If you see Eldon or his red truck, you are asked to call Crime Line at (806) 741-1000.
