A doctor from Oregon says he became fed up with people dying before their time. He has written a book called "Stupid Reasons People Die." The book includes 264 easy to read pages that tackle what Doctor John Corso says is our biggest medical misconceptions.
"So many people walk around and say I have low cholesterol so I'm fine, I'm protected. And nothing could be further from the truth. I'd say 80-90% of heart attacks occur in people with normal cholesterol or low cholesterol. Tens of thousands of Americans die in the prime of their lives and they die from things we know how to find and we know how to stop," says Dr. John Corso. The book, "Stupid Reasons People Die", can be purchased at Target.
