Lubbock Teen Arrested in Stabbing, Awaiting Arraignment

NewsChannel 11 has learned the name of the man stabbed by a young teen. However, his relationship to the suspect is still unclear.

We do know the incident happened just before 7:00 p.m. Wednesday. It happened at their home in the 300 block of 51st Street.

A witness told NewsChannel 11 that Clemente Botello, 32, had been arguing with his girl friend's 13 year-old son. The boy allegedly left the room and returned with a knife, stabbing Botello.

The teen is now awaiting arraignment at the Lubbock County Juvenile Justice Center. Botello has since been treated and released.
