Missing Lubbock Man Returning to Lubbock, Silver Alert Works - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

We know here on the South Plains, that the Texas Silver Alert system works.

The alert for Eldon White, of Lubbock, was cancelled Wednesday after he was located at a convenience store in Abilene. Authorities say the clerk recognized the man, by the flyers circulated across the state.

"Thank you for noticing the television, the flyers, the news paper... whatever got your attention, and for taking action," said Beth Bramlett, White's daughter.

White, who suffers from dementia, disappeared Monday afternoon. A medical facility has offered White temporary shelter, until permanent arrangements can be made.
