South Plains Musician Released from Hospital - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Musician Doug Smith is out of the hospital and back home in Petersburg. He was released from a Colorado hospital Thursday night, however his family tells us he still has months of therapy ahead of him.

The composer and pianist was hospitalized since July, after rolling his pickup near Acuff.

A walk will be held December 1, in Petersburg, to raise money for Smith's medical bills. The cost of registration is $10.
