NewsChannel 11's Abner Euresti was busy at Holiday Happening Thursday, not shopping but helping man the first booth you see as you walk into that holiday event.
It's a prostate cancer booth sponsored by KCBD, the Junior League along with Covenant Hospital and University Medical Center. The two hospitals are providing vouchers for a free PSA test, which is a simple blood test that can find prostate cancer early.
Since Abner went through prostate cancer surgery this summer, he is quick to convince other men that this is a free test that could save your life.
Abner says that the vouchers are good through the end of January, and you don't have to buy a ticket for Holiday Happening to pick up a voucher because the vouchers are available on the way to the ticket office at the Civic Center.
