Alcohol appears to be the cause of a deadly rollover in west Lubbock County Saturday night. It happened about two miles south of Reese Technology Center on County Road 1300.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Fred Clifford Marley over-corrected his pickup after veering off the road around midnight. Marley, 37, was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the truck as it rolled over. He was pronounced dead at University Medical Center.
