New Information in Fatal Industrial Accident - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

We are learning more about the industrial accident in North Lubbock that killed a man Sunday afternoon.

Acario Garcia, 63, was killed in the accident at Diamond Plastics. The company makes plastic pipes.

A company spokesman says an employee mistakenly made a cut in a pressurized pipe, releasing the cap, which then struck Garcia.

Plant manager John Pitman says Garcia was a great person and friend. He says the company is truly saddened to lose him.
