Free Souvenir Baggies Available at Lubbock Preston Smith Int'l Airport

Looking for a bag at the airport to put those small items in? Until now, the quart size plastic bags were not available; but now at the security gate at Preston Smith International Airport you can pick up a resealable storage bag at no charge.

Visit Lubbock, the Convention and Visitors Bureau, has sponsored this new campaign to help ease the holiday travelers mind and shorten the time spent at airport security. The bags are TSA approved and are for liquid items with no more than three fluid ounces and other items such as lip-gloss, as well as lipstick.

James Loomis, Director of Preston Smith International Airport, states, " Nobody likes to wait in the security lines at the airport. By having your items already stored into TSA sanctioned bags, lines can flow smoother, getting you to your destination without a worry, and not leaving you to buy more toothpaste or any other items once you arrive."
