The Lubbock Police Department is hiring. They say they need people willing to accept a challenge.
Tuesday afternoon, nine Lubbock police recruits underwent an obstacle course. The course ended with the recruits being pepper-sprayed.
Lubbock Police Recruiter Corey Nunley says, "It just shows how tough our recruits are and what they have to go through in the academy and what it takes to become a Lubbock police officer."
