Just in time for the road trip to your turkey dinner, gasoline prices are up again. On Wednesday, oil prices today neared $100 a barrel.
Fuel is more expensive, because demand is up, but that is not stopping hundreds of Lubbock residents from filling up and heading out.
"I'm kind of nervous," said one driver. "But hopefully everybody will be safe and it won't be so bad."
Many drivers also waited until the day before Thanksgiving, to make sure their vehicles were road trip-ready. Some of those NewsChannel 11 spoke with say the long lines at the oil change put their departure a little behind schedule.
