Amarillo Authorities Capture Escaped Inmate

An Amarillo inmate is back behind bars.

David Anthony Myrie escaped from the Randall County Jail Tuesday night but is now back in jail.

Authorities found him hiding in an alley in downtown Amarillo shortly after his escape.

Myrie is being held on federal charges of illegal re-entry into the United States.
