Semi Overturns On The Interstate - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Crews spent Friday night clearing the scene of an accident at I-27 and Regis.

DPS troopers say a semi was driving southbound on I-27 when it came into contact with a Chevy Astro Van. The van spun out of control and hit a light pole. The semi overturned and landed in a field.

The drivers of both of the vehicles were taken by ambulance to the hospital. Both had moderate injuries.

DPS has not determined if the accident was weather related.
