Wyoming Teen Killed In Car Accident Near Shallowater

A teenager from Wyoming was killed after he was thrown from his car near Shallowater Saturday afternoon.

DPS troopers say 19-year-old Joey Clark was driving a Chevrolet Malibu Westbound on US 84 when he lost control of the car causing it to roll off the highway about two miles West of Shallowater.

Clark was pronounced dead on the scene.

His passenger 19-year-old Charles Jackson also of Wyoming was taken by ambulance to University Medical Center with non life threatening injuries. He was treated and released Saturday evening.
