You can now add Dickey's Barbeque at 5412 Slide Road to the Food for Thought list of two-time top performers.
Co-owner Evan Brown says he has his crew and their cleaning routine to thank, "We just have a certain standard, and we hold to it and we make sure every day that you're cleaning behind yourself and that we're doing everything we can to keep everything safe."
And if you haven't tried Dickey's just yet, Evan says there are about a dozen things that set them apart from most barbeque joints.
"Most people have coleslaw, beans and potato salad, but we have 17 different side items to choose from," Evan said.

We find our next top performer at 8222 University where River Smith's celebrated their recent grand opening with a perfect score.
Richard Shields is their Director of Operations and says when they have questions about food safety they go straight to the health department for help.
"Anytime we've had questions we're able to call and ask and they even come by to teach us thing whenever we need," Richard said.
While they're known for their chicken bits and catfish, River Smith's now offers something else to tempt your taste buds, "We also have a new healthy choice menu for those counting carbs, calories or watching out for their heart health."
So what does it feel like to be a top performer?
"It's a lot of fun, and it feels like we're being recognized for the hard work that we do," Richard said.
And our final recognition this week goes to the snack bar inside the Skate Ranch at 4701 West Loop 289. They rolled through their health inspection without even a wobble.
