Xanadoo Announces Donation of $2,500 to CASA This Holiday Season

Xanadoo Wireless High-Speed Internet and its affiliates are pleased to announce a $2,500 cash donation to CASA - Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children - to support its important work for the children of the South Plains area.

"We're proud to support CASA in its ongoing fight against child abuse", said John Cook, General Manager of Xanadoo's Lubbock Market.  "Every holiday season we think of happy, smiling children, but unfortunately, not all are so fortunate.  By making this donation, we will hopefully bring a few extra smiles to the special children CASA touches this holiday season and beyond."

According to CASA's Executive Director, Amy Paiva, CASA volunteers are advocating for almost 700 Lubbock area children who are currently trying to navigate their way through the foster care system.  "Most of us cannot imagine the horrors these children have endured.  However, the very generous contribution from Xanadoo Wireless High-Speed Internet and its affiliates proves to our CASA kids that their community really does care about them."

CASA Volunteers Needed
CASA of the South Plains wants to continue to advocate for every child making sure their voices are heard in the courtroom. The organization does NOT want to have to turn their backs on any abused child because of a lack of funding, or lack of volunteers.
