Lubbock Police are investigating a possible rape in the Hub City this weekend.
Authorities tell NewsChannel 11, a woman called 911 after she was allegedly attacked early Sunday morning. Police reports indicate a black man picked her up as she walked home from Club Luxor, located at 4th and Avenue U. She claims that is when he sexually assaulted her, and later dropped her off in the 300 block of Avenue Q.
The woman went to University Medical Center for a complete examination.
