Just one day after we learned the details leading up to a near Amber Alert, the man involved is indicted. Tuesday, a Lubbock County Grand Jury indicted Allan Shepherd for aggravated assault.
He was arrested November 5th. Authorities caught up with him at 58th and University just minutes before they were set to issue an Amber Alert. They also found his ten-year-old niece who investigators now believe went with Shepherd willingly.
His charges stem from what happened two hours before this arrest. Shepherd is accused of trying to strangle his sister and harm his nephew.
