Another Reason to Eat Your Vegetables

A team of scientists has found that eating three or more servings a month of raw cruciferous vegetables, like broccoli, cabbage and cauliflower may reduce your risk of bladder cancer by as much as 40 percent.

The Roswell Park Cancer Institute says that eating these vegetables raw is most likely to produce the most benefit.  They say that it is because, in this case, cooking the vegetables reduces a lot of the cancer fighting compounds.
