Suspected Drunk Driver Hits Pole, Tree - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A man is facing DUI charges following an accident in southwest Lubbock.

Police say the man hit a light pole around 12:40 a.m. Monday at 7008 Norfolk. He then narrowly avoided a fence, before hitting a tree beside a home.

EMS took Miguel Luna Jr., 25, to University Medical Center, where he remained in serious condition Monday afternoon.

A witness reported seeing the man swerving all over the road moments before the accident.
