The struggling consumer electronic retailer plans to hold store-closing sales at all of its 103 stores, including Lubbock.

The Dallas-based company has struggled for nearly a decade with falling prices on personal computers, and competition from big-box retailers such as Best Buy.

Store operations will end after the holiday. Comp USA has been sold to a restructuring firm.
