Lorenzo Teens Remain Critical Following Thursday Rollover - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Two Lorenzo teens remain in critical condition, after the pickup they were riding in Thursday, rolled three times. 

The accident just before 10 p.m. Thursday night. Authorities say 17-year-old Beatriz Pullares was talking on her cell phone, when she hit a dip while driving on a dirt road. She lost control, then overcorrected.

Pullares and her passenger, Marisa Mendez, 16, were both thrown from the truck. Neither girl was wearing a seat belt.

Both girls are in the Intensive Care Unit at University Medical Center.
