Closing arguments in the trial of a Lubbock pastor are expected to begin Wednesday morning.
Both the prosecution and defense rested in the trial of James Clark on Tuesday. The former pastor of Mount Vernon United Methodist Church is charged with Compelling Prostitution.
He's accused of forcing a Kenyan exchange student to have sex in exchange for tuition and living expenses. In day two of the trial, the prosecution called members of the church finance committee to the stand. They testified their committee never sponsored nor funded a Kenyan student.
Federal special agents also testified Clark tried to bring other African women to the United States.
