Grand Jury Declines To Indict Convenience Store Employee

A Lubbock convenience store employee will not face charges for fatally shooting an attempted robber.

A Lubbock County Grand Jury declined to indict Jace Martin in the death of Jesse Jermaine Pearson.

On November 3rd, Pearson tried to rob Carl's Corner at 98th and M-L-K. Martin was just coming into work and chased Pearson in his own vehicle. He then, ended up shooting and killing him blocks away from the scene.
