Main Lanes to Open on Marsha Sharp Freeway - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Some good news for drivers as they make their Monday morning commute. The main lanes of the Marsha Sharp Freeway over the Loop are set to open Monday morning.

TxDOT officials say this is just another step in the completion of the freeway process.

"Motorists will be able to drive from I believe about Milwaukee to Slide Road and will only have one stoplight they'll have to stop at," says Penny Mason, with TxDOT.

Mason says the fly-overs could be open by the end of this year or early next year.
