This is the season for sickness. People think they are too busy to stay home when they feel bad and crowded stores and parties are breeding grounds for viruses to spread quickly. Patient Julie Hoang says of her illness that it "started out with a sore throat then it became the next day as a cough, and then I became nauseous."
Julie's doctor, Dr. Don Dillahunty, a family physician advises that, "If you're sick yourself then you need to be home."
Dr. Dillahunty says that the simple prescription: stay at home when you need to, is the best thing you can do for yourself and for your community.
