Suspected Drunk Driver Collides With Train - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A Lubbock man is facing driving while intoxicated charges after police say he was apparently driving on the train tracks in the 7500 block of Southeast Drive around 1:30 a.m. Thursday.

The train's engineer told authorities he tried to stop the train when he saw the truck's headlights coming from a distance but the two collided head on.

Amazingly, no one was injured. Police arrested 29-year-old Vearl Hudson for DWI.
