Toy Industry Offers Hotline for Parents

With Christmas just days away, South Plains parents have a tough task ahead of them. They must make sure the toys they buy are safe.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission recalled more than 25 million toys this year. Most were made in China and contained excessive amounts of lead.

NewsChannel 11 took our hidden cameras into local stores and found signs alerting parents that recalled toys were off the shelf. But if you have questions about any toys, the toy industry has set up a hotline. The number is 1-888-88-4TOYS. They also have a website, just click here.
