The 27th annual KLLL Country Christmas Blood Drive surpassed their goal by more than 100 units of blood. The blood drive wrapped up on Saturday evening.
The original goal was 1,220 units of blood, but the drive ended with more than 1,300 units donated. Organizers say the need for blood is even more critical right now with so many people hitting the road this holiday season.
All donors received a free T-shirt, a pint of ice cream and were registered to win a digital camera from Best Buy.
