Man Dies in Rollover Near Petersburg - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A Lubbock man is dead following a rollover accident in northeast Lubbock County. DPS Troopers say 54 year-old Renee Villanueva lost control of his car around 12:40 a.m. Thursday on F.M. 789, about seven miles south of Peaterburg, near the Lubbock County line.

The car rolled several times before coming to rest in a field. Villanueve, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the car. Investigators believe alcohol was a factor in the wreck.
