High Winds Damage Lubbock Home

High winds are to blame for damage to a Lubbock home.

Resident Rowdy Gilbert says just after 5:30 Thursday night a gust of wind blew his shed toward a home in the 3700 Block of 33rd Street.

"We ran into the bathroom because we thought it was at tornado. And we ran back out and the shed was right there and dogs are freaking out and no other damage was done besides here," Gilbert said.

Apparently, the wind also blew over the fence and a few roof shingles.

This is the same storm system we alerted you to on NewsChannel 11 at 5.
