Trash Pickup Delayed and Fireworks Available for New Year's

The City of Lubbock offices will be closed next Tuesday for New Year's. So if you get your trash picked up by the city, that will be collected Wednesday instead.

Speaking of New Year's parties, if you can't ring in the new year without a handful of sparklers, you're in luck. Local fireworks stands are already open for business.
