Williamson Dies Of Apparent Heart Attack

Former Texas Transportation Commission Chairman and longtime state law maker Ric Williamson died Sunday.  Williamson suffered an apparent heart attack at a Weatherford hospital.

He served in the legislature for more than 20-years, and Governor Perry named Williamson to the transportation commission in 2001, before he became chairman in 2004.

Williamson was 55.
