Walking Away Menopause Symptoms

According to researchers at Temple University, women who are looking for relief from some of the symptoms of menopause may benefit from walking.

Researchers followed 380 women from Philadelphia for more than eight years and found that those who walked frequently had fewer psychological symptoms of menopause including less anxiety, stress and depression.   

It did not do much for hot flashes but the study was encouraging because researchers found that women don't need gym memberships to get the benefits. Simply walking around the block or at the mall can work just as well.
