More Tests Needed in Fatal Shooting Autopsy

The Lubbock Medical Examiner must perform more tests to determine the nature of a shooting that killed a Lubbock man.

Eddie Pitcock died Thursday after suffering a gun shot wound to the head. Crews arrived on the scene in the 4300 Block of 47th Street around 5:20 Thursday morning. EMS took Pitcock to University Medical Center, where he died five hours later.

Authorities are investigating the shooting to determine if it was accidental.
