On Thursday, the expansion Houston Texans signed former Dallas Cowboys linebacker Robert Jones. Jones is one of 15 roster additions. Jones was drafted by the Cowboys in 1992. He's played 150 career NFL games with Dallas, the St. Louis Rams, the Miami Dolphins, and last season, the Washington Redskins.
The Texans also claimed punter John Baker off waivers from St. Louis. Baker is a Brenham native who played college ball at North Texas. Houston also signed 13 undrafted rookie free agents:

The 6th-ranked Red Raiders saw their star senior Keenan Evans struggle with his toe injury and some hot second-half shooting from the Cowboys as they lost to Oklahoma State 79-71.
