Serial Car Burglary Suspect Arrested - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A suspected serial car burglar is facing charges. Michael Shuping was arrested Thursday after a Shallowater Volunteer Firefighter recognized his truck from a wanted poster at the Wal-Mart on 4th Street.

At the time of his arrest, Shuping was in possession of marijuana, stolen property including credit cards, and drug paraphenalia. The vehicle he was in was also reportedly stolen.

Authorities suspect Shuping is linked to 17 burglaries in Shallowater, Wolfforth, and Lubbock.
