2008 Spring Recreation & Leisure Activity Guide Now Available

The 2008 Spring Recreation and Leisure Activity Guide is now available and better than ever.

The guide still has all the great spring activities for the City of Lubbock, but now categorizes the classes and events into different topics for instance Leisure Education for adults with classes listed in sub-categories such as Art, Communication, Cooking, Personal Development, Fitness, Health and Relaxation and more.

Classes for pre-schoolers and youth have a separate section, as does Older Active Adults.

The Libraries, Buddy Holly Center, Silent Wings Museum, Civic Services, Tennis Center, Athletic Leagues and Health Department also have their activities listed plus any ongoing services listed in the Community Programs and Services section.

The guide is 24-pages and covers activities from January through May.  Class registration for the spring session is currently underway at the Community and Senior Centers.

Parks and Recreation has the entire 24-page guide available in Adobe Reader, (click here).

To have a free copy mailed to you, call the City of Lubbock at (806) 775-2685.
