Two area schools are making the grade this week, and a recent low performer makes a turn around to the top performing list.
Let's start in the Cooper School District where inspectors found perfection in two cafeterias. Cooper K through 8 and Cooper High School both received top performing certificates this time for zero critical violations.
Our featured top performer is Ted's Burgers at 1924 Ave. A. In mid April, they received 4 critical violations and were a low performer, but now they've wiped the slate clean and are back on top with zero critical violations. Owner Asaad Mousavi tells us he owes the come back to his outstanding employees.
"Actually my employee and I try every day very hard to work, we work fortunately they did a very good job and it's a struggle and challenge every day. My employee, they keep clean and they try fast service to customer every day," said Mousavi.
Our next Top Performer hits a hole in one. Birdie's Grill at Shadow Hills Golf Course at 6002 3rd Street gets a perfect score with zero critical violations.
There are no low performers this week.
