Chan Ho Park Ready to Return

New Texas Ranger Chan Ho Park threw 80 pitches on Monday in a simulated game. Park says that he's ready to return to the starting rotation for the first time since pitching in the season opener. Park is on the disabled list with a pulled right hamstring, an injury he aggravated in his debut with the Rangers on April 1st when he gave up six runs on nine hits over five innings at Oakland.

He initially got hurt in a spring training game on March 27th. Manager Jerry Narron wants to see how Park feels in the next couple of days before deciding if the right hander will make a start this weekend against Detroit.

Rob Bell, who has taken the last two starts in Park's spot since being called up, is scheduled to pitch on Sunday. Park isn't scheduled to throw again until Wednesday.
