Morning House Fire in Central Lubbock - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A report of smoke in the attic brought fire fighters to a central Lubbock neighborhood Thursday morning.

Just after 9 a.m., fire crews spotted smoke billowing from a house in the 5200 block of 14th Street. Firefighters had to tear out parts of the attic to locate the source.

Investigators believe an electrical short may have started the fire.
