Lubbock Water Rate Decision Postponed

Lubbock water rates are expected to increase, but we still do not know how much.

Friday morning, Lubbock's water advisory committee chose to look over all the options before giving a recommendation to council. They are expected to make that recommendation late next week.

The options include increases ranging from 15% to 28% in 2008.

City staff will go over those plans in a news conference scheduled for Friday afternoon.
