The dog who jumped the fence last week, and bit the mailman is back home, but there are conditions to his release.
At a dangerous dog hearing Friday afternoon, Lubbock Animal Services Director, Kevin Overstreet, spared the yellow lab's life, saying the dog should be neutered instead, and injected with a micro-chip.
The victim attended the dangerous dog hearing. He says he has no hard feelings towards the animal or his owners, and is relieved with Overstreet's decision.
The dog is scheduled to see the vet on Monday.
