An electrical short inside a wall may have started a central Lubbock house fire Sunday night.
"We went to go to united for a second and we came back and our house was like totally smoking," said victim Everett Parks.
Parks said he came back to his house in the 4600 block of 27th Street just before 9 p.m. Sunday night. He says the smoke was so thick they couldn't even see their pool table in a back room.
"We don't know exactly what happened. We called the fire department and they said for us to get out of the house," said Parks.
Luckily everyone got out safely. The definite cause is still under investigation.
