You can't believe everything you read, right? Have you heard that chewing gum before a meal or snack can reduce your hunger or even kill your cravings? That study was presented recently to the annual meeting of the Obesity Society. The researchers told the group that gum chewers dramatically cut their snack calorie intake indicating that gum could be an easy tool for appetite control.
But, and here's the fine print, the research team was representing the Wrigley Science Institute...a division of Wrigley Gum.
