LISD Holds Information Meeting For All Girls School

Dozens gathered Saturday morning to learn more about the LISD School for Young Women Leaders.

LISD hosted the meeting to give parents and girls interested in attending the school more information about the all girls school and how to apply.

The school which will open this fall will be located at 415 North Ivory. That's the former Hunt Elementary.

Girls entering the sixth and seventh grade can apply but only 150 will be accepted in the school's first year.
