Former Lubbock Preacher Guilty of Money Laundering and Fraud

The Lubbock pastor who forced a Kenyan exchange student into prostitution has also been found guilty of money laundering and fraud.

On Friday, a Lubbock jury found James Clark guilty on all 41 counts against him. He embezzled federal grant money that was supposed to go toward feeding impoverished children.

Clark is the former pastor of Mount Vernon United Methodist Church in East Lubbock.

He will be sentenced at a later date.
