Grassfire Near Muleshoe, Highway Closed

As of 5 p.m. Monday, a large grass fire is burning about five miles east of Muleshoe.

NewsChannel 11 has learned that eight fore crews are on the scene working to contain the blaze.

Officials have shut down a portion of U.S. 84 from Sudan to Muleshoe.
