A man who pleaded guilty to a Lubbock murder on Thursday will now spend the next 30 years in prison.
Jimmy Lee Perryman was found dead in the basement of his home at 1309 39th Street, in March 2007. Minutes later, police found Larry Hambrick Jr. hiding in a dumpster behind the house.
Perryman's family says Hambrick had been living with the family, since his recent release from prison. They also say police had been called to the residence four or five times in the months before the murder.
